Born in Seville, Spain, on 2 January 1976, young Paz was a star of the biggest TV sitcom in Spain, 7 Vidas, dubbed a Spanish version of Friends, when she left it all behind her and decided to work on making it big in movies. Big she made it, indeed, in one of her first roles for cult Spanish director Pedro Almodovar in the movie Habla Con Ella (Talk to Her). In a fantasy black-and-white sequence, Paz happily went fully nude in a scene which then cuts to the unforgettable spectacle of a giant replica of her vagina.
If that wasn't enough for Paz fans, she has behind her an erotic masterpiece which tops even the vision of a giant replica vagina. The arthouse Spanish erotic movie Sex And Lucia (aka Lucìa Y El Sexo) is not just a little steamy masterpiece ... it is Paz Vega in unashamed, totally confident with her sexuality super-vamp mode. She does more nude scenes than Beatrice Valle in that other European arthouse erotic masterwork, Betty Blue, and more sexily even than Valle ... and that's saying something. Now she's on the Hollywood treadmill, we'll probably never see Paz Vega indulge in such cinematic abandon again, but some of us still have the memories ... and the DVDs, of course, lest we forget.
